Graduates from across the Lincoln School of Film and Media and the School of English and Journalism course have received a record number of nominations in the RTS Midlands Student Awards – more than any other university in the region.

It is the 24th annual Student Television Awards which celebrates work that shows strong creative story-telling, innovation and outstanding visual and aural creativity with high quality craft skills.

The University has attracted 12 out of 33 nominations and all the entries were created by students in individual or group projects during the 2017/18 academic year.

This year the judges are on the lookout for freshness, originality and audience appeal within the constraints of the law and broadcasting practice.
