Community Learning in Partnership (CLIP) and the University of Lincoln have collaborated to bring Café Scientifique to Market Rasen, a place to explore the latest ideas in science and technology . The first Café Scienti fique shared research on The Science of Sleep, delivered by Professor Graham Law.
The event, held at Café Clip, Market Rasen, proved a sell- out success: “Judging by the feedback we received people were delighted with the evening. Professor Law was both an entertaining and informative speaker . He has promised to come back next year to talk about his latest research into microbes and their impact on our health.” Ray Mason, Event Organiser
Audience members were given the chance to consider some of the science and popular myths surrounding sleep and were involved in a lively question and answer session.
