The PEARL team is made up of three investigators combining different backgrounds and areas of work.

Carenza Lewis

Professor for the Public Understanding of Research

Carenza has directed multiple programmes that get staff, students and the public involved in the research process to the mutual benefit of individuals, communities, heritage and academia, inluding Access Cambridge Archaeology (ACA) a university-community research-orientated archaeology and heritage project.

Carenza has involved more than 10,000 people in research during her career.

Gregory Frame

PEARL Senior Administrator

 

Greg has a background in academic research with a key interest in organising and staging events that bridge the gap between the academy and the wider public.

Greg has previously worked as a lecturer in Film Studies at various universities in the UK, and his ongoing research examines the politics of mainstream American film and television.
